I'm so honored...

Little Clutch

Here is my first little clutch bag which I will be putting on etsy with more of them. Little ones are not easy to make.....but I think it came out nice.

Finally: The debut of new fancy clutch bags

I have two so far for sale in the etsy shop. They are not easy to make, especially when I order frames from Thailand and glue from the UK. I made these both with silk brocade fabric on the outside, a strong cotton quilted fabric, and then a dupion silk lining. I want to do more of these and hope they do well in the shop.

Swallows, Swallows, Swallows!

In the etsy shop. I am little obsessed with swallows right now. I did learn that the first swallow sighting in the new year brings luck and they are also omens of good health and great wealth. Bring it on 2009!

We Are Flying Into 2009 With A Giveaway!

That's right. You can win these precious red swallow dangle earrings! The brass swallow charms are painted with red paint for that patina look. They are hanging from antique brass earwires and have a large transparent red glass bell flower in their beaks. They measure 1 and 3/4 of an inch in length.

It is the Year of the 9

To celebrate 2009, I have slashed (literally) prices in my etsy shop. Vintage scarves, and jewelry are more than 50% off.

I am feeling positive for this year, 9 is my number in numerology as well. I hope to learn new skills that will help me to move my shop closer to my being able to craft and sew full time.
