New Day of the Dead Collection

I have added a new Day of The Dead collection on my Etsy shop. Here are some pictures:

Each piece is dedicated to one of my loved ones who has passed on.

The Public Debut of To The 9s

Today I sold my wares at The Kessler School Pumpkin Patch. I met some very nice fellow artisans: TP Design, the Kessler Craftsman, and the gals from The Cozy Cottage. It was a nice breezy day and I did make a little bit of money. I don't have formal business cards or fancy displays yet but I think my table looked nice regardless. Here are some pictures:

I Heart Glitter: Just Like Martha

I recently took some plastic beads and pendants and glittered them with tourmaline (extra fine) glitter. My 2 year old, Vivien, wanted to help me. I ended up giving her some "bigger" glitter of her own. She glittered her own beads and I put them on string for a necklace. Here are some pictures of her working:


It is my hope that someday "To The 9s" is something that she and I do together.

My Craft Hutch

We live in a house that was built in 1941. It's extremely charming but small. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, virtually no closet space. I had my craft stuff in every empty nook and cranny that I could find. Recently, my sweet husband cleaned out our dining room hutch so I could move all my supplies in. Here's a picture of it cleaned out:

The Starlet Bag Collection

When I think of starlets, I definitely think of women who were dressed to the nines. These women have inspired my new bag collection. So far I only have created two.

To The 9s Appearing LIVE

On Saturday, October 11th at The Kessler School Pumpkin Patch! The patch opens at 9am and runs until 3pm. I will have many Halloween/Day of The Dead items for sale in addition to my other jewelry and bags.
