My name is Heather, I like to make things. I have been crafting since I was seven years old, possibly sooner, when I made caterpillar magnets with Grandma Smolarsky who lived across the street. When I cracked 3, maybe even 4 ribs, playing roller derby last August, I felt an emptiness. I filled this void by deciding to open my own accessory shop. Ala, To The 9s.
To The 9s is based on the old-fashioned philosophy of being "dressed to the nines" in any situation. Whether you are attending a play, an art opening, the symphony, going out for a night on the town, or even just making an appearance at a casual picnic, you should always look your best. We specialize in handmade accessories, many made with vintage components.
Today I sold my wares at The Kessler School Pumpkin Patch. I met some very nice fellow artisans: TP Design, the Kessler Craftsman, and the gals from The Cozy Cottage. It was a nice breezy day and I did make a little bit of money. I don't have formal business cards or fancy displays yet but I think my table looked nice regardless. Here are some pictures:
